Check that the click is real and relevant
Confirm the campaign objective, link destination, and reporting window. Inspect placements and audience geography against the service area. A click from someone who cannot buy is not a qualified opportunity. Compare outbound clicks and landing page views where available; slow loading or redirect problems can cause a gap.
Review the ad promise. If it suggests a discount, quick appointment, or specific outcome, the destination must explain the same offer. A mismatch attracts curiosity but loses intent.
Inspect the landing page on a phone
Open the page from the actual ad preview and test it on mobile data. Does the headline match the creative? Is the next action visible? Can someone understand price context, service area, availability, or eligibility without hunting?
Remove unnecessary form fields and label every input. Explain what happens after submission. Test whether the form reaches the right inbox or CRM and whether a confirmation appears. A conversion tracking event should fire only after a successful submission, not when someone merely opens the form.
Look for offer and trust gaps
A broad “contact us” request can feel like work. Give people a useful reason to enquire, such as a consultation, quote, booking, or product detail, while being honest about what you can provide. Show credible proof and policies that reduce uncertainty. Do not use invented urgency or fake reviews.
If the service is high consideration, visitors may need more information before they submit. Add relevant examples, process details, and answers to common objections. Do not overload the page with every possible feature.
Follow the enquiry after it arrives
Check response time, missed calls, spam folders, and message routing. Record whether leads were reachable, qualified, booked, and converted. If good leads are coming in but not buying, the issue may be pricing, sales process, availability, or fit—not ad delivery.
Change one part of the funnel at a time and keep a note of what changed. Diagnose measurement first, then traffic relevance, offer, page friction, and sales follow-up. This sequence avoids rewriting ads when the form was broken all along.
